Restrained in 5th just over 2L off the sedate pace, commenced move upon straightening and hit the front passing the 200 metres, won readily.

Broke well to lead, went over 1L clear on straightening, swamped by the winner 200 metres out.
3SOUTHERN LEGEND  K Teetan  (TT)

Travelled 3-wide without cover in 4th within 2L of the pace, in similar position turning in, fought on steadily without threatening.

4CHAMPION'S WAY  J Moreira  (B/TT)

Raced keenly on heels of the leader in the sedate pace in back straight and around home bend, did not find much room early in straight, unable to quicken to threaten.

Settled in rear of midfield in 8th, ran on quite well in straight to be nearest at finish.

Ridden to close up position early, failed to quicken to threaten inside the final 200 metres. (Questioned for disappointing performance)

Slowly away and then crowded, quickly recovered along the rail to midfield in 6th just over 3L back taking advantage of the sedate early pace, in similar position turning in, fought on steadily without threatening.

Taken back towards the rear in 9th from the widest gate, the widest runner turning for home, fought on steadily without threatening.

Slowly away, gradually recovered to rear of the field on the rail taking advantage of the sedate early pace, travelled keenly in 9th approaching home bend, failed to quicken under pressure in the straight.

Taken back from a wide gate, trailed the field 3-wide with cover to home straight, ran on to be nearest at finish.
