Showed good speed to lead in early stages before being crossed & racing on leaders back from the 800m. Moved over heels on straightening, dashed up to take lead passing 250m before continuing on to win easily.
2SIMPLY FLUKE  A Badel  (H/P/XB)

Began well before drifting back approaching first bend & settling midfield on rail. Continued on inside approaching bend before finishing off steadily to move to second passing the 150m.

3HARRIER JET  A Hamelin  (B)

Obtained good position in midfield away from rail. Ridden along entering last section when just under 3L from lead before finishing well in the straight to move to third inside last 100m.

4SPARKLING STAR  K Teetan  (TT)

Crowded after the start & consequently lost ground & raced near the rear. Continued along the rail entering last section when 5L from the lead before making good late ground into non-threatening 4th in concluding stages.
5THE ABRAXAS  H N Wong  (B)

Hard ridden & improved after start to assume lead after first furlong before crossing to rail in lead near 800m. Raced over a length clear on straightening before being headed by winner near 250m & weakening sharply late.
6STARLIGHT  C Schofield

Had limited early speed & raced tight with other runners consequently racing near the rear throughout. Continued well back on straightening before making steady late ground to pass a number of runners when finishing midfield.
7DESTINE JEWELLERY  M Chadwick  (V)

Didn't have the early speed of others & was hard ridden to hold position in midfield between runners. Drifted further back in middle stages, 4.5L from lead entering last section before only holding position in midfield late.

Steadied & shifted back from outside barrier to settle worse than midfield 3 wide with cover throughout. Continued in second half, 4.5L behind entering the last section before failing to improve in straight. No threat.

Crowded & steadied after start before improving after first bend to race in midfield away from rail. Moved 4 wide passing the 800m & steadily improved before cornering extremely wide & yielding ground in concluding stages.

10MOMENTUM HAPPY  K C Leung  (B)

Hard ridden after start to improve position around first bend when racing wide. Continued to improve until moving to second near the 850m. Came under pressure on cornering & weakened badly in last section.
11BULLISH BROTHER  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Ridden forward to be prominent before drifting back to midfield after first bend. Continued wide & without cover throughout. Cornered second widest before emptying out on straightening & weakening sharply thereafter.

Was racing wide approaching first bend before hanging out across heels & being severely checked & losing ground. Continued a long last after incident & never improved.
