Reserved in midfield, 7th on settling, just over 3Ls to make up on leader at 400M, moved up steadily on straightening, found extra late and got up close home.

From draw 14 ridden forward to join leader on the outside, kicked on well passing 400M, just couldn't hold off the winner last few strides, huge run in defeat.

From draw 10 guided to a 2-wide spot towards the rear, 6Ls to make up top of straight, picked up well from 350M, closed fast final stages, nearest finish.

Chased leaders along the 2-path, moved up to 2nd nearing 300M, tried hard to reel in leader but effort levelled inside final 100M.

Positioned just ahead of midfield, had his chance in the straight but just battled away and well held by leaders, one paced late.
