1VICTORY MACHINE  M F Poon  (B/TT)

Ridden hard for first 100m to gain prominent position before settling 1 length behind speed. Shared lead upon straightening before fighting on bravely to hold of late challengers in the run to the line.

2MUSIC ADDITION  A Badel

Jumped well before coming across from wide barrier and settling midfield on the outside, three horses off the fence but with cover. Conceded leaders around 3 lengths on straightening but sprinted hard late to just miss.

3FLYING BONUS  W M Lai

Commenced well and went forward to assume uncontested lead. Travelled well in the lead and was still prominent until caught right in final few strides.

4GAMEPLAYER EMPEROR  U Rispoli  (B)

Away fairly before being allowed to find feet and settling worse than midfield and off the fence. Pulled around heals at the 500m and entered the straight the widest runner before making good late ground.

5TOP SCORE  G van Niekerk  (B/TT)

Had economical run after positioning leaders back. Was presented with clear running shortly after straightening but could not capitalize. Was not beaten far.

6KASI FARASI  M L Yeung  (TT1)

Commenced fairly before being ridden forward. Couldn't quite cross to outside leader so raced three wide in middle stages. Slightly awkward when taking home corner before balancing up and working fairly to the line.

7ZERO HEDGE  S de Sousa  (SR)

Eased back from wide barrier to position near the tail. Raced keenly after 300m and was bumped after the 500m mark. Came across heals after straightening and was widest runner before balancing and making some late ground.

8ENDEARING  D Whyte  (V/TT)

Only moderately away before positioning midfield one horse off fence. Was niggled at in early stages before easing at the 750m. Stayed close to the fence in the straight but was mostly one paced in the straight.

9COMPLACENCY  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Commenced very fast and was ridden hard to come across from wide gate but was stranded four wide when speed inside gathered momentum. Lost a length when cornering and conceded 2 lengths to leaders upon straightening.

10CAO CAO  N Callan  (H1)

Was eased back shortly after the start and remained worse than midfield between runners in middle sections. Had plenty of room after straightening to improve but only ground away. Looked to hand in later stages.

11GRATWICK  H N Wong

One of the slowest away before taken back and cross to the fence. Eased and slightly cramped at 650m and lost a length. Entered the straight in last position and failed to improve much in the run home.

12SMART PATCH  Z Purton  (B1/TT1)

Had no early speed and eased across to the tail. Was bumped and brushed on multiple occasions between 600m and 450m. Was well back on straightening and pretty much maintained that position in the run to the post.

13TEAM SPIRIT  C Schofield  (B)

Commenced well and ridden hard for first 100m before ultimately easing behind speed, positioning between runners in midfield. Improved closer to the speed at 600m but was under pressure upon straightening.
