Commenced fairly before being ridden across to rail and settling midfield 3 pairs back on fence. Improved and became unbalanced when improving at 500m. Held tight at 400m before switching to inside and sprinting strongly.

Commenced well from inside barrier before settling third on fence behind leader. Was eased around 500m before staying close to fence in straight and fighting on gamely.

Worse than midfield after the start before being shuffled back to rear in middle stages. Attempted to improve from 600m on the back of rivals before being pushed wide on straightening. Made good late ground in run to line.

Ridden hard first 200m before coming across midfield one horse off the fence. Ridden up from 450m to get into race from rearward position before getting home well from back in field.

Eased back after the start to position near the rear before improved position from the 800m. Was posted three horses wide in middle stages and again improved prior to cornering. Ran home well considering tough trip.

Settled last in early stages before commencing sweeping run around the field from 800m. Were three and four horses wide in middle stages before joining leaders at 350m. Ran around in straight but was very brave considering.

Began awkwardly losing ground and settled near the rear. Was a clear last upon entering straight and passed a few in the run home.
|8||TRAVEL FIRST C Wong (B/TT)|
Commenced well and was ridden forward to position outside leader. Sat one length off leader until 500m when improving to share the lead upon straightening. Battled away in the straight.
|9||ASSOCIATION FANS M Chadwick (H/SR)|
Jumped well before easing behind speed, two pairs back on outside. Ridden up from 500m before being inconvenienced at the 475m and losing position. Awkwardly placed in early stages of straight and not likely after passage.

Was ridden forward from start to take up leading position. Held margin of a length until the 500m when outside horse challenged before failing to flatter in the run to the line.
|11||ENJOY LIFE M L Yeung (P-/B1)|
Ridden across from barrier to position worse than midfield off fence before then gaining fence position at 1200m. Stayed close to rail throughout running but never threatened in the run to the line.
|12||DISTRICT EXPRESS C Murray (H1)|
Ridden forward to contest lead before easing out of that battle to get position one pair back at the 1200m. Was ridden up from 450m to improve position, however gave ground from 300m and was well beaten.
