Taken back from the widest gate, quickened well inside the final 150 metres to snatch victory close to home.

Broke well from a middle gate to share early lead, soon taken back for cover but to no avail, raced 3-wide without cover in 5th over 2L back rounding home bend, hit the front under pressure over 150M out but outsprinted close to home.

Settled wide in rear of midfield, in similar position turning into home straight, ran on to be nearest at finish.

Midfield early, shuffled backward at the 1000 metres, renewed effort and saved ground rounding home bend, ran on under pressure to reach half-length 2nd briefly 100 metres out, no extra.

Given reminders to hold position amongst leaders early, soon dropped to over 2L back in 6th on first bend, shuffled further back rounding home bend, produced good impression in home straight but hampered near finish.
