Settled in just better than midfield on rails in 6th and then 5th on home bend, switched out to challenge after straightening, ran on to be nearest at finish.

Jumped well, in front briefly before ceded advantage to settle just off the pace coming out of back straight, briefly baulked early in home straight, failed to peg back the winner.
