Broke well but eased off pace, settling between horses 2L from leader. Switch out top of straight to make run, gradually increased speed to hit the front 100m, then held off determined challenge.
2LUCKY BUBBLES  B Prebble

Jumped well but hampered shortly after, dropping to behind midfield. Got close to heels around turn, switched out 380m for clear run, finished strongly to just miss.
3PENIAPHOBIA  S de Sousa  (CP/TT)

Quickly into stride to lead on settling. Set strong pace to straight, kicked ahead 350m but caught passing 100m. Battled on gamely to hold minor placing.
4AMAZING KIDS  J Moreira

Began well but outpaced, dropping to rear along rail. Improved position around turn, got dream rails run in straight and ran on strongly.
5SIGNS OF BLESSING  S Pasquier  (SR)

Shifted across behind runners from wide draw and last on settling. Trailed field to straight, taken to centre track and finished off nicely.
6TAKEDOWN  T Clark  (B/TT)

Crowded and unbalanced shortly after start, settling between horses ahead of midfield. Kept on steadily in straight under hard riding without looking dangerous.

Began well, pressed forward behind the pace but severely hampered 850m, dropping back to midfield 4L from leader. Shaken up top of straight and kept on fairly.
8SUPER JOCKEY  K Teetan

Quickly away, pressed forward to race outside leader. Stayed in contention to 200m when ran out of steam and faded.
9STRATHMORE  N Callan  (B/TT)

Began awkwardly but pushed up quickly to grab box seat, 3L from leader. Chased leader to straight, kept on fairly to 200m then one-paced.
10BIG ARTHUR  R Moore

Pressed forward from an outside draw, racing wide without cover in midfield. Covered extra ground turn, wide into straight, found little under pressure final 200m. Had small cut inside right front fetlock.
11REBEL DANE  B Melham  (B)

Hard ridden to obtain forward position, racing 3-wide 2L from leader into turn. Still in contention to 200m when condition gave out and faded.
12RED FALX  M Demuro  (H/SR)

Ridden along from an outside draw but didn't muster and kept wide at the rear. Kept wide in straight but limited response when asked.
13GROWL  G Lee  (CP/XB)

Jumped well, pressed forward but wide, gradually dropping back towards rear. Shuffled back to last entering straight and plodded home.
