Began fairly, quickly taken in from outside draw to settle 3-back, one-off first turn. Shaken-up 550m, taken to centre track on straightening, finished strongly while laying in to win close home.
2AUTUMN GOLD  N Callan  (B)

Began well but not pushed, settling between horses 3L from leader. Started forward move passing 500m, turned wide, ran on strongly to just miss.
3AZTEC EMPIRE  O Doleuze  (CP)

Pressed forward from outside draw and left wide from 1400m, 3L from leader. Rolled forward from 700m to take lead 550m, then kept finding when challenged until run down final strides.
4TRUE COMMENT  S Clipperton  (CP/TT)

Began well, rolled forward taking lead 1450m before crossing to fence 1200m. Overtaken 550m but kept battling until swamped last couple of strides.
5SUPER FORM  K Teetan  (V/TT)

Began fairly, quickly taken in to find cover, settling towards rear in one-off position. Put under pressure passing 500m, taken to centre track on straightening and finished off strongly.
6KING BOUNTIFUL  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Jumped with field, taken to rail, then eased 3-back from leader. Came off fence 500m, got run between horses in straight, ran on steadily.
7SUPERNATURAL  D Whyte  (CP/TT)

Allowed to roll forward on jumping, sitting one-away from the fence but 2L from leader. Shuffled back to 3rd passing 550m, but kept battling to 200m before giving ground gradually.
8CASA MASTER  C Schofield  (B/TT)

Hard ridden early to get forward position before settling on rail 3L from leader. Raced in restricted space turning form home, got rails run in straight but spent force passing 200m.
9WEALTHY FORTUNE  K K Chiong  (B)

Crowded out start, taken to rail but outpaced, dropping to rail at rear. Made no effort until entering straight then only one-paced.
10ENTRUSTING  B Prebble  (V-/H)

Lifted front legs as gates opened and slow into stride. Shown persuader but didn't muster, dropping to last. Trailed field to straight where made little impression.
11SMART UNION  N Rawiller

Jumped OK but right stirrup buckle broke near 1700m placing jockey at severe disadvantage. Kept wide behind midfield to straight before eased out final 200m.
12THE RAINBOW  Y T Cheng  (B2)

Quickly into stride, leading field to 1450m before slipping into box seat 2L from leader. Came under pressure from 700m and gave ground quickly.
