Began well and taken forward early to share the lead, on the fence. Pulled away from the 300m, and was well clear late, Running out of gas late, but too far ahead to be caught.
2GORGEOUS KING  O Bosson  (CP-/TT)

Eased back from the wide draw, eventually settling just behind midfield, on the rail. Stayed closer to the inside in the run home and ran strongly, with the fastest last 400m and taking 2nd in the last 25m.
3SMART BOY  C Schofield

Pushed forward from the inside draw to be well placed 4th/5th, on the rail. Held up early in the straight, but ran solidly when clear from the 300m. Peaked near the line and lost 2nd late.
4SUPREME FALCON  Z Purton  (CP/TT)

Began well before dropping back to sit midfield, 2-3 wide with limited cover. Plugged on OK in the straight. Only went hands and heels late, and no threat for a place.
5MOMENTUM LUCKY  N Rawiller

Pressed forward early to be well placed 4th/5th, 1 off the fence. Checked at 900m. Came wide on the turn, and taken further out when off heels in the straight. Nice run when clear late down extreme outside.
6FLYING MOOCHI  H N Wong  (H)

Pushed forward at any cost early, eventually sharing the lead, 1 off the fence. Ran flat in the straight, dropping out from the 250m.
7AMAZING MOMENT  K Teetan

Pressed forward early, before being hampered at 900m, eventually settling 3rd 1 off the fence. Drifted wider in the straight, but only went to the line fairly.
8RED KYLIN  K C Leung

Eased back early to sit midfield, 1 off the fence. Came widest in the straight, and only went 1 paced to the line.
9PENANG HALL  B Prebble  (B)

Bumped on jumping, but recovered to go forward and sit around midfield, on the rail. Came wider on the turn, but never responded to urgings in the straight and was eased up over the last 100m.
10LUCKY DAY  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Slow into stride and had to settle at the rear of the field, 10L off the leaders. Ran fairly to the line late, and only managed to pick up a couple of slower ones.
11PRINCIPAL  T H So

Didn't kick early and settle 2nd last. Showed nothing and was quietly ridden in the straight, before easing out late.
12WHAT MAN HORSE  K C Ng  (TT1)

Eased back from the wide draw and stuck wide and unsettled early, before settling towards the rear of the field. Gave nothing and was eased a long way from home. Unacceptable performance.
