Not pushed early and sat forward of midfield, 1 off the fence. Had clear running from the top of the straight. Took on leader at 150m, and had enough in the tank to hold out a fast finishing 2nd.
2HERO LOOK  D Whyte  (XB1/TT1)

Cruised forward from the wide draw to sit midfield, 1 off the fence. Came wider on the turn, and ran on solidly. Kicked late and was closing the margin on the winner, with the fastest final sectional.
3THEWIZARDOFOZ  K Teetan  (B)

Pushed forward early to sit just behind the early leader, 1 off the fence. Lead at the 400m, but challenged at 150m and lost his position in the first 2 late.
4SPICY SURE  G Mosse  (TT)

Pushed forward early to be handily placed 5th. Over raced onto heels at 700m. Got a clear run from 400m, and ran on well from there. Unable to kick with first 3 late.
5ISHVARA  K C Leung  (B/TT)

Began well, but not used up early, sitting midfield on the fence. Had to go searching for a run at the top of the straight. Ran on OK, and kicked well over the last 100m.
6BERLINI  T H So  (H)

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit last, 11L off the leader. Pushed forward from the 600m. Produced a big run in the straight, and finished off well.
7PIKACHU  R Fourie  (B)

Slow away and dropped back to sit at the rear of the field, on the fence. Pushed on OK from the top of the straight, and lost some momentum when steadied off heels 200m. Ran on OK late.
8WAH MAY FRIEND  M L Yeung  (TT)

Drifted in from the outside draw to eventually sit at the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Came wide on the turn, and plugged on OK in the latter stages.
9KINGSFIELD  B Prebble  (H-/B)

Pushed forward from the wide draw to be the early leader. Held on until the 300m, before peaking on his run and dropping out quickly from the 250m.
10SAN NICASIO  Y T Cheng  (H)

Began well from the inside draw and taken forward to be well placed just behind the leader, on the fence. Held up briefly at the top of the straight, but never ran on and dropped back from the 200m.
11CHOICE TREASURE  C Y Ho

Began OK, dropping back early to sit at the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Only plugged on in the straight, fading out late.
12RICKFIELD  C Schofield  (XB1/TT1)

Slowly away, and only eased forward to be just worse than midfield, on the rail. Asked to go on the turn, but didn't respond and went to the line flat.
13CIRCUIT LAND  N Callan  (TT)

Taken forward from a wide draw to a handy position 1.5L off the leader, but 3 wide no cover. Bumped and unbalanced at 700m. Never responded to pressure from the top of the straight, and dropped out conspicuously.
14HAPPY BAO BEI  C K Tong  (H/TT)

Well place early, forward of midfield on the fence. Dropped out badly in the straight, and subsequently found to have blood in the trachea and cardiac arrhythmia.
