Vigorously ridden to lead, crossing to fence then set steady pace. Kicked 3L clear soon after straightening and never challenged.

Began fairly, made up ground along rail to sit 3-back before turn. Not much room top of straight but motored home nicely when clear final 300m.

Pressed forward, racing wide to 1200m before rolling forward to sit 1L behind leader. Caught flat-footed 450m when leader kicked but boxed on gamely.

Hard ridden early to sit outside leader before easing one-back, one-off before turn. Looked a chance when loomed entering straight but then only one-paced.

Bumped start, not pushed, settling along rail 4-back from leader. Improved position around turn, took inside run in straight, kept on fairly.

Jumped with field but over-raced back stretch between horses. Held up for run early in straight, steadied 200m, one-paced.
