Jumped OK, settling midfield in one-off position. Picked up momentum entering straight and finished strongly between horses to win on line.
2LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT  Z Purton  (TT)

Got off fairly, taken to rail four-back from leader and allowed to settle. Took inside runs in straight and finished strongly to just fail.
3YOU READ MY MIND  N Callan  (XB)

Pressed forward from inside draw to lead on settling. Kicked clear entering straight and kept on strongly till swamped final 50m.
4ALL GREAT FRIENDS  G Mosse

Jumped with field, ridden forward to hold one-off, one-back position. Urged forward top of straight but only one-paced final stages.
5COUNTRY MELODY  C Y Ho  (H)

Away nicely, checked 1000m but able to hold on to box seat behind leader. Boxed on steadily in straight without looking dangerous.

Began awkwardly, ridden forward to sit outside leader to and around turn. Kept on well early in straight before tiring final stages.

Began well, ridden along to hold rail three-back from leader. Switched out in straight to make run but only one-paced.
8GOLDEN DEER  K Teetan  (B)

Steadied soon after start and shifted across behind runners, settling at rear along rail. Shaken up top of straight but only one-paced.
9PABLOSKY  J Moreira  (H/SR)

Urged forward from outside draw, racing three-wide 3L from leader. Kept wide in straight but found little under pressure. Lame with cuts to right front leg.
10TURF SPRINT  K C Leung  (H1)

Began fairly, ridden along but wide around turn towards the rear. Found little in straight when asked.
11MASSIVE MILLENNIUM  R Fourie  (H1/TT1)

Ridden along early but not much speed, settling in one-off position at the rear. No response when popped the question in straight.

Bounded in the air when the gates opened, lost ground, dropping to last. Trailed field after that and never likely.
