Began well, racing along rail inside leading pack before easing into box seat 1300m. Came off fence 500m, got clear run when field fanned out 400m, forged to the front 150m and held off late challenge.
2DYNAMISM  D Whyte  (SR/H1)

Jumped with field, allowed to stride forward at own pace, settling three-back along fence. Stayed on rail turning for home but badly held for run until 300m. Finished strongly to just fail.
3RENAISSANCE ART  Z Purton

Pressed forward from awkward draw racing four-wide to 1300m before settling outside leader. Strode to the front on straightening, joined 200m out, unable match first two closing stages.
4LUCKY OMENS  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

No early pace, shifted across from wide draw to settle along rail at rear. Shuffled back to last entering straight, lay in but finished off strongly to be nearest at the finish.
5SELKIRK STAR  K C Leung  (H/TT)

Settled at rear in one-off position. Switched wide 500m turning for home and rolled forward to within 1L of leader at 200m before running out of gas. One-paced final.
6TAKE TO THE LIMIT  G Mosse  (SR)

Ridden along early settling in one-off position three-back from leader. Lost position around turn and blocked for run top of straight. Made late ground after getting clear 300m.
7ANTICIPATION  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Began well, motoring gradually to take clear lead passing 1200m. Tended to hang out at turn but kept lead till straight before weakening gradually.
8BUBBLE CHIC  B Prebble  (CP1)

Raced with leading pack before easing one-back, one-off passing 1200m. Taken a little wide into straight but only one-paced final stages.
9WAYFOONG EXPRESS  N Rawiller  (B)

No speed, settling last despite being ridden along. Started forward move passing 600m, swooping around field to be 3L from leader entering straight. Tired quickly. Rider reported did not stretch out.
