Pressed forward from outside draw, racing three-wide until crossing in to sit outside leader at the 1000m. Shaken up approaching the straight, took lead 80m and pulled clear.
2FRUITFUL CHAMPION  Y T Cheng

Ridden forward from gate 6 to take lead on settling. Not pressed and set steady sections. Kicked ahead passing 300m to look top chance 200m but collared 80m. Kept on.
3JOYFUL THE GREAT  H W Lai  (E/PC)

Bumped, recovered, urged forward from inside draw, settling 3-back from leader. Switched three wide in straight and finished off strongly.
4GIDDY GIDDY  D Whyte  (H/TT)

Ridden to hold fence behind leader soon after the start. Travelled well and looked well placed passing 200m. Kept on fairly.
5BALTIC WARRIOR  J Moreira  (B/TT)

Bumped start, ridden along in midfield but kept away from fence. Switched out for run passing 200m and finished off nicely.

Hard ridden to hold forward position one-back, one-off to straight. Lost position when field speeded up 350m and weekend final 200m.

Shifted across behind horses from outer position but still kept wide and towards the rear. Improved position around urn but one-paced in straight.

Ridden along in a one-off position towards the rear. Made up some ground early in straight but no-extra from 200m.

Shifted across behind horses from wide draw, settling near fence at rear. Never looked likely though did run past a couple of tired horses final 200.

Shifted across behind horses from wide draw, settling at rear in a one-off position. Clear last around turn. Never competitive.
11INCREDIBLE ACT  Z Purton  (TT)

Slow into stride, then raced keenly along fence. Made up some ground around turn, but found nothing in straight.
12FLYING CAPTAIN  T H So

Ridden along early but trapped wide without cover some 6L from leader. Hung in passing 500m and dropped out. Steward ruled performance was unacceptable.
