Began well, ridden to initially hold box seat before eased three-back from leader. Switched out turning for home, picked up momentum from 300m and just got to the line on time.
2GREAT RUN  K Teetan  (B)

Hard ridden to stay with pacemakers 3L from leader, easing to four-back the fence around turn Got inside run final 200m and was finishing strongly when shifted in from heels 150m Kept on well.
3GENERAL IRON  M L Yeung  (CP/TT)

Got off with field, ridden along to hold midfield position one-away from fence. Shaken up top of straight, shifted out 250m to obtain clear running, finished strongly.
4BRILLIANT PROPOSAL  D Whyte  (B)

Made to work from an outside draw, racing three-wide outside early leader before hitting the front and crossing to rail 600m. Kicked clear 400m, looked top chance 200m, swamped on line to miss a placing.
5SHADOWFAXE  J Moreira  (E/TT)

Pressed forward to lead on settling but badgered by four other runners. Eased one-back, one-out around turn, urged forward again in straight to be 2nd at 200m when one-paced. Found to have blood in trachea.

Not much speed, taken to rear along fence. Improved position around turn, switched out in straight and kept on steadily to be closest at finish.

No pace, racing wide at the rear and away from the fence. Picked up momentum entering straight and ran on fairly past tired horses.

Pushed along between horses at the rear after awkward start, crossing in from wide draw. Checked and lost position 600m. Ran on fairly in straight when shown daylight.

Began well, hard ridden to hold forward position settling three-back, one -off. Taken out very wide in straight but only one-paced.

Began well, aggressively ridden to hold lead along fence but unable to prevent another from crossing over. Still in contention 200m before weakening badly. Stewards ruled performance unacceptable.
11HAWTHORNE  Y T Cheng  (B)

Pushed along early to hold forward position 2L from leader but then taken wide from 800m and lost position. Faded off in straight.

A little slow to move and clear last on settling. Never competitive. Stewards ruled performance unacceptable.
