Began OK, did not have the early speed, dropping about 4L from leader along outside rail. Picked up momentum passing 600m, squeezed through gap to lead 200m, kept on strongly.
2ACCEPTED  Z Purton  (H1)

Hard ridden to stay with pacemakers, 0.5L from leader and four-away from outer fence. Put under pressure 250m and kept on strongly to the line.
3NOBLE ALPHA  B Prebble  (P)

Began well but no early speed gradually crossing from inside draw to outer fence but kept four-deep. Picked up momentum from 500m and kept on well to grab minor placing.
4E-SUPER  K Teetan

First out, led for a few strides before dropping to neck second at the 900m. Put under pressure and retook lead 350m but soon challenged and passed. One paced final stages.
5TRIUMPHANT JEWEL  M L Yeung  (B/TT)

Ridden along early, moving quickly from inside draw to outer fence but kept 4-deep, 3L from leader. Urged forward passing 400m, got to within striking distance 200m but one-paced thereafter.
6NO MONEY NO TALK  A Suborics  (XB)

Jumped with field, racing at rear down centre track while edging closer to outer fence. Improved position steadily after passing 800m but one-paced final 200m.
7BUDDY BUNDY  Y T Cheng  (TT1)

Quickly into stride, racing up with pacemakers a neck outside leader. Raced in restricted room 500 and got shuffled back 2L from leader at the 400m. Weakened gradually.
8LONGWAH SILENT  D Lane  (TT)

Ridden along to obtain forward position settling 4-wide from outer fence and 1L from leader. Switched out to get run but awkwardly placed from 400m and drifted back gradually.
9BEAUTY JOURNEY  K C Ng  (B/TT)

Bumped start and last on settling. Crossed over to outer fence to find better ground but switch in passing 400m. Finished off fairly down centre track.
10WINDICATOR STAR  C K Tong  (TT)

Began awkwardly but quickly made up ground while crossing to outsider fence to get within 2.5L of leader passing the 400m. Steadied and shifted out 300m. Faded gradually.
11ST YAZIN  W M Lai  (TT)

Began well, quickly taken to outer fence some 5L from leader. Switched in passing 400m to make run but only one-paced.
12AMBITIOUS KING  H N Wong  (H/V/TT)

Began well, urged forward along outer fence to lead passing 900m. Set good pace to 400m when caught and weakened quickly. Jockey reported wanted to lay-in mostly.
13HAYMAKER  T H So  (H/SR)

Began fairly, shifted across behind horses to outer fence and second last on settling. Raced at the rear throughout.
14COUNTRY MELODY  J Moreira  (H)

Quickly into stride, racing along centre track 2L from leader. Got to within striking range 400m when lost action and dropped back quickly. Jockey reported horse did not handle conditions.
