Positively ridden out the gate, travelled well outside the lead, took over near 400M, responded gamely and kicked 2L clear mid-straight, turned one pace late stages but managed to hold on.

Settled just off midfield 3-wide, moved into contention near 400M, rallied strongly down center of track, did best work final 150M, nearest finish.
3SERGEANT TITANIUM  J Moreira

Settled down midfield inside, travelled smoothly to straight, quickened to go 2nd 250M, battled well to line but always held by leader, lost 2nd 50M out.
4LANSBURY  D Lane

From wide barrier raced no closer than 3-wide, no cover from 1200M, advanced to the front line 500M, kept on steadily turning in for a creditable 4th.

Eased back to a rearward position 7Ls off the pace, waited with till 400M, switched wide 350M and ran home well.

Reserved in a 2-wide spot behind mid-division, taken out to challenge inside 400M, stayed on moderately without threat to first four. (Jockey dropped right rein 50M)

Tracked leading pair along the fence, driven along 500M but not pace to challenge leaders, plodded on same pace to line.

Chased leaders 2-wide, well placed to strike 450M and had his chance, failed to keep up with leaders passing 200M, weakened towards finish.

Sent forward setting steady pace, joined by rivals inside 500M, soon lost lead entering straight and faded from 300M.

Guided to a midfield position 3Ls off leaders, difficult to settle 1300M out, struggled to quicken leaving the bend, ran on same pace never a threat to leaders. (Muco)

Settled towards the rear, took rails run into straight, couldn't quicken. (Jockey reported abnormal breathing)

Lost ground when bumped at the start, travelled much further back than usual, swung 3-wide on the bend but already beaten off home turn, eased mid-straight.
