Began well, eased to one-off position 3L from leader. Allowed to stride at own tempo to straight, niggled 400m, surged forward to lead 250m, kept on strongly to line.
2BEAUTY FLAME  D Whyte  (TT)

Pressed forward from wide draw to lead on settling. Slowed tempo approaching turn, kicked ahead top of straight, caught 250m but kept on well to line.
3REWARDING HERO  N Callan  (H/XB)

No speed, settling at rear some 7L from leader in one-off position, Urged forward around turn, wide into straight, finished strongly down centre track.
4DAN EXCEL  N Rawiller  (CP/TT)

Ridden to get forward position, settling in box seat behind leader. Closed in top of straight to look a chance and kept on well, getting close to heels near finish line.
5REAL SPECIALIST  K Teetan  (P)

Quickly into stride from inside draw, holding fence three-back from leader. Unable to hold position around turn and one-paced in straight.
6GLORIOUS DAYS  B Prebble  (B-/P1)

Got off fairly, not pressed settling in one-off position three-back from leader. Switched out approaching straight but only one-paced.
7SECRET SHAM  D Lane  (H/XB)

Had front feet off ground when gates opened and slow. Pressed forward to settle 1L behind and outside leader approaching turn. Drew level entering straight but flattened final 200m.
8RAINBOW CHIC  Z Purton  (TT)

Steadied shortly after start and then difficult to settle until approaching turn, dropping to rear. Last entering straight. Never competitive.
