Began OK, allowed to settle three back from leader along rail. Came off fence 400m, had clear run top of straight, led 200m, kept finding to fend off challengers.

Pressed forward to lead on settling before taking sit from 850m. Switched out 450m, rolled forward to lead 350m, passed 250m but kept battling to line.

Shifted in behind runners and last on settling but away from fence. Started forward move 3-wide from 600m, widest into straight, finished off strongly.

Ridden along early but held three wide. Took off around field passing 500m, very wide into straight, battled to line.

Hampered start, raced behind midfield between horses. Checked from heels turning for home, ran on steadily in straight.

Bumped soon after start, pressed forward, settling in one-off position behind leading pack. Got close to heels 400m, one-paced in straight.
