Began well, crossed quickly to sit at hindquarters of leader. Shaken up entering straight, hit front 300m, kicked clear 200m, running on empty 50m but held.
2GREAT SPIRIT  K C Leung

Steadied soon after start, dropped to clear last first turn. Not pressured till 400m when taken 5-wide, ran home strongly to just miss.
3GOLDEN HARVEST  K Teetan  (TT)

Began OK, outpaced, dropping to near rear in one-off position. Not pressured, taken out turn and widest in straight, finished strongly.
4BEST ELEVEN  M Chadwick  (CP1/TT)

Began well, ridden along between horses to stay in touch with leaders. Had clear run entering straight and kept on steadily to be closest at finish.
5EL ZONDA  A Suborics  (TT)

Began fairly, threw head up passing 1000m and raced ungenerously to 900m when unbalanced. Did not settle until final turn, finished off nicely final 150m.
6STRAIGHT GOLD  G Mosse  (H/XB)

Slow, steadied from heels 1100m settling towards rear. Improved along rail before turn, came off fence 300m, not fully ridden out in straight.
7CALIFORNIA BOUNTY  C K Tong  (TT)

Pressed forward to lead on settling, cutting to fence 1000m. Set steady pace, hung out home turn, joined 300m, kept plugging until swamped 50m.
8FULFIL A WISH  W M Lai  (CP/TT)

Began well, ridden along to hold box seat turning into back stretch. Saved ground final turn, kept on steadily to 200m before stopping quickly. Lame right front.
9GURUS DREAM  D Whyte

Jumped OK but raced too keenly and trapped wide without cover. Rolled forward from 800m, wide into straight, found nothing under pressure.
10TAI SING YEH  C Y Ho  (B)

Ridden forward from wide draw, found cover but wide passing 1000m, awkwardly placed 500m, taken out entering straight but one-paced.
11HAPPY ERA  B Prebble  (B)

Hard ridden to get forward position, hung out first turn and left racing wide without cover. Faded quickly in straight. Jockey reported did not travel comfortably. Performance ruled unacceptable (See racing incidents).
