Raced in 5th position, 1 off with cover. Peeled out on straightening and wound up nicely to take control of the race 50m out.

Travelled midfield, 1 off with cover. Swung deep on the home turn & finished off soundly.
3PERI PERI SAFFRON  A Suborics  (B)

Parked 3 back the fence with cover. Darted through into clear running along the inside near the 250m, hit the lead after the 150m, but was overhauled in the run to the line.
4HECO RIDER  T Angland  (B/TT)

Camped behind midfield, 2 wide with cover. Came widest in the straight and finished off well despite having to shift away from heels near the 70m whilst laying in.
5NIGHTLIGN  T H So  (XB)

Flew out of the gates and led before handing up near the 900m and box seating thereafter. Was still in the mix at the 100m but was swamped late.
6VICTORY GENERAL  Z Purton  (B/XB)

When being taken back from a wide gate, was crowded for room, settling worse than midfield the fence, had cover. Had no luck in the straight after being badly held up until the 100m. Had plenty of excuses.
7SUPER TORNADO  O Doleuze

Ridden negatively from barrier rise & raced with the backmakers, on the paint with cover. Worked home steadily.
8NATURAL TEAM  K C Leung  (XB1/TT)

Led along the fence. Hung out on the home turn and in the straight, faded after the 200m and proved somewhat difficult to ride out.
9CAPITAL K  B Prebble

Settled in last position from the outside gate, close to the rail, with cover. Was severely checked near the 200m after being held up, never recovered thereafter.
10SPLENDID VICTORY  C Y Ho  (TT)

Ridden aggressively early, travelling in second position outside the leader, no cover. Was a beaten horse at the furlong.
11LOADS OF JOY  G Mosse  (TT)

Posted 3 deep without cover for most of the trip whilst racing on the speed. Never looked likely and finished well back. (See incident report)
12SKY FIRE  K Teetan  (B)

Settled 3rd from the rear, 1 off with cover. Drifted back after the 700m and tailed out in the straight. (to trial)
