Enjoyed a nice run in the race box seating. Kept to the inside in the straight and had the race in its keeping 50m out.

Parked 3 back, 1 off with cover. Swung deep on the home turn and rattled home nicely.

Took up the running on the fence. Stayed on gamely in the run to the wire.

Camped behind midfield, 2 deep with cover. Came widest in the home straight and made good late ground to finish in the frame.

Travelled 1 out 1 back, was inclined to race very keenly at times in the middle stages. Kept whacking away in the run to the line.

Began awkwardly then was ridden back in the field, settling on the fence near the 600m with cover. Made reasonable late ground without ever threatening.
