Jumped well, led on settling but kept away from fence by inside horse. Joined after entering straight, headed 200m but fought back to win narrowly.

Difficult to settle early stages but enjoyed good run 1-off, 1-back. Cruised alongside leader 350m, led 200m, but condition gave out final strides.

Beaten early pace and held 3-wide with cover into turn. Shaken up 600m, swung wide straight and ran on well until 100m when shifted in.

Taken back from wide draw but kept away from fence. Taken very wide entering straight, kept on steadily under hard riding.
5METALLIC STAR  Z Purton  (H/TT)

Taken forward from widest gate and trapped 3-wide but with cover into turn. Switched out 350m and kept on steadily.

Outpaced andl held 3-wide behind midfield, covering extra ground turn. Hard ridden from 500m and made ground under whip from 200m.

Jumped best but not pushed and sat half length inside leader to straight. Hard ridden from 300m but found little. Hands and heels final stages.

No early speed and near rear by 800m. Lost position around turn, found inside run but only one-paced under hard riding.

Jumped OK but no early speed and drifted toward rear before turn. Taken wide 400m but only one-paced to line.

Fractious in gate but jumped well and soon on rail behind leading pack. Looked chance entering straight but only one paced.

Reared start and then taken back from wide draw. Last into turn, and detached from field 200m before running past tired horses.

Taken froward from outside draw and trapped 3-wide on hind quarters of leader without cover. Loomed alongside leaders turning for home before tiring quickly.

Began OK and settled in midfield close to fence. Kept on steadily early in straight before tiring and falling back.

Jumped well and ridden along to sit behind the early pace, put under pressure turning for home, found little and slipped back.
