Began only fairly and then recovered to park in second position outside the leader. Fought on well in the home straight to claim the prize.
2FERRABOSCO  T Angland  (B/SR/TT)

Led along the fence setting a leisurely tempo. Had a length margin on straightening and battled away gamely down the running.
3LIVERPOOL LAD  C W Wong

Enjoyed a nice run in the race stalking the leader on the fence. Stayed on reasonably in the run home.
4SPICY SIAM  Z Purton  (B)

Ridden along early, settling midfield, 1 off with cover. Kept grinding away in the final stretch to make the frame.
5MEGA POSH  K C Ng  (B/TT)

Camped midfield 3 deep with cover. Finished off soundly over the final stages.

Made its run from a rearward position after settling 2 deep with cover. Turned for home with 1 wider, finished off one paced, never threatened.

Raced back in the field, on the paint with cover. Kept towards the inside in the straight, kept on only one paced after obtaining clear running passing the 350m.

Parked in fourth position, 1 off with cover. Peeled out near the 600m to improve and rounded the home bend on terms with the leaders. Peaked on its effort near the 250m.

Taken back from the outside gate, travelled 2-3 wide in last position, had cover. Finished off fairly without threatening.

Parked midfield the fence had cover. Straightened 3 wide, was one paced in the final stretch after shifting out off heels near the 300m.

Travelled ahead of midfield on the rails with cover. Rounded the home turn 2 deep, had every chance in the home straight, gave ground over the last 150m.

Settled second last, 1 off with cover. Swung the home turn widest, struggled thereafter, failing to run on.

Began best then raced keenly when steadied in the early stages, was unable to obtain cover and was posted 3 deep after the 1000m, ahead of midfield. Was carried wider after the 600m, never likely.

Settled worse than midfield, 2 deep with cover. Was a beaten horse early in the home straight.
