Began awkwardly, set steady pace, strongly challenged by rival passing 300M, headed near 100M but rallied back and prevailed in a head-to-head sprint to the line.

Chased leaders, challenged down the inside passing 300M, slightly unbalanced when brushed 200M, came through to lead 100M out but winner fought back and prevailed in a photo finish. (Objection overruled.)

Went forward to press leader, chased first 2 for much of the way in straight before fading away final 50M.

Poised in a 3-wide position not far off leaders, kept on steadily final 400M under pressure but not a serious threat to first two.

Held up midfield along the fence, kept on final 400M but making no headway on first two.

Up with early pace, tracked leaders 2-wide entering home turn, had every hope passing 400M but not going the pace to seriously challenge.

Dropped back to the rear, 6Ls back in a difficult position turning in, badly held up early straight and again near 150M, ran on well when shifted out to clear final stages.
