1DESTINED FOR GLORY  T Clark  (H/XB/TT)

Held up in midfield along the rails, peeled out to find clear running early straight, had some work to do going into 200M, put in a strong late surge to nail Ambitious Dragon right on the line.

2AMBITIOUS DRAGON  M Guyon  (B)

Settled 3-wide ahead of midfield, no cover from 1200M and pushed wider over the home turn, soon alongside leaders in straight, led 200M out but strides shortened final stages, caught on the line.

3FLYING BLUE  D Whyte

Always handy behind leaders, short of room early straight but responded well once a gap opened up on the rail, went 3rd 50M out hung on to that position in a tight photo finish.

4FAIR TRADE  B Prebble

Given a waiting ride towards the rear of the field, laid out under pressure early straight, late surge inside 200M, nearest finish.

5XTENSION  J Lloyd  (H/XB)

Taken back to last about 7Ls off the slow pace, peeled out into clear running nearing 400M, finished fastest, nearest line.

6BEAUTY FLASH  G Mosse  (TT)

Emerged to lead from 1200M, set a slow pace middle stages, unable to shake off pursuers turning into straight, headed nearing 200M, faded late stages and was swamped in the shadows of the post.

7OUTDOOR PEGASUS  K C Leung  (TT)

In mid-division and well covered, kept grinding away in the straight and wasn't beaten far, ran a fine race considering the strength of the opposition.

8ABLE ONE  D Beadman  (H)

Up with early pace then restrained to sit behind leaders, pushed wide 700M out, responded well early straight and looked a threat, but run ended passing 200M then gave way.

9NEW GREENFIELD  N Callan  (H-/SW-/XB1)

Dropped in behind midfield along the 2-path, not quickened inside 400M, no impression on the much higher rated rivals.

10NEW DEERFIELD  B Doyle

Took keen hold, held up in last pair, kept on same pace turning for home, never threatened.

11SIGHT WINNER  T Angland

Led early then sat behind leader approaching the turn, not quickened when pressed on inside 400M, weakened out of contention mid-straight.

12CHATER WAY  Z Purton  (SR)

Taken back and settled near last 6Ls off the pace, switched wide passing 500M but found little under pressure, eased final 100M.
