Bounced into ideal spot behind leaders 3Ls away, travelling well throughout, into clear at 400 M, let down easily and drew away to win comfortably.

2GRAND DRAGON  Z Purton

Moderate jump, taken back to rails, raced 6 to 7Ls back on fence, saved ground on bend, closed off well along inside doing best work late for 2nd.

3RIBOT LEGEND  K C Leung

Speedy beginning, pushed on to race outside leader, dropped in on bend, made challenge turning, kept coming to 200 M before peaked, stayed on.

4THE ONLY KID  G Cheyne  (H/TT)

Began well raced 5Ls away in mid-section, saved ground on rails throughout, took inside runs and kept on soundly to make frame.

5SUPER CARDED  W M Lai  (B1/H1)

Average jump, ended up in midfield 5Ls or so back, enjoyed a fair run in mid-section, just held ground late.

6STOLEN THUNDER  B Doyle  (B)

Fair to begin, settled 6Ls back just worse than midfield, tracked well approaching bend, peaked final 200 M.

7ARION OF CHIU TON  B Prebble  (B-)

Drifted back soon after start, 8Ls away in running line, even run to bend, didn't have a crack until after 300 M but response was only moderate when clear. (didn't fully stride out.)

8BEAUTY EXPRESS  Y T Cheng  (B2)

Began with some purpose, slotted into running line 3Ls or so away, gradually improved to bend, didn't go on after bump at 400 M and folded tamely.

No speed as usual, ended up 8Ls away at tail, always well back throughout, took inside runs but didn't close off in straight.

10CHATER D'CAT  W C Marwing  (TT1)

No early speed, got well back, wide without cover in mid-section, 7 to 8Ls away throughout, came wide turning, didn't close off late.

11WISE LOVER  C Williams  (B)

Dropped to rear from an awkward draw, always 8 to 9Ls off them, made no serious progress in straight.

12GRAND PROFIT  O Doleuze  (TT1)

Plenty of speed, took lead and led by 2Ls, set an even speed, gave in passing 300 M and dropped right out.
