Jumped well form his wide draw and shifted across for an easy lead, dictated at a steady pace before galloping on strongly inside 200 M to hold off his rivals.
2MR MEDICI  Y T Cheng

Handily placed in 4th and had a smooth run throughout, challenged strongly inside 400M to get within half length of the winner who had got first run on him.
3THUMBS UP  B Prebble

Behind mid-division and not helped by the steady tempo, waited with till 350M, showed good acceleration to come through between horses for 3rd.
4VIVA PATACA  W C Marwing  (H)

Out in the back early on, 6Ls behind off the bend and produced a sustained effort towards the outside. Never nearer.

Held up 3-wide in midfield and raced a shade keen at times, made good progress down the outside from 400M but turned flat in the closing stages.

Taken back from the wide draw and raced in the rear as expected, had 6Ls to make up on straightening but didn't have a clear crack until 150M, finished well.

Chased leader one back and was ideally placed turning in, stayed on but not pace to challenge, eased close home. (Jockey reminded to ride out to the end.)

Jumped well, in touch not far off from leaders but could only keep on same pace in the run in. No impression.

Always in last, 8Ls down turning in, not quicken and never looked likely from off the pace.

In midfield 3-wide without cover throughout, never picked up in straight, eased when beaten inside 200M. (Jockey questioned.)

Away awkwardly and gave others a big start, moved up along the fence to be 5Ls off the pace in midfield, run ended 200 M from home and weakened.

Towards the rear on the inner, had 8Ls to make up passing 400 M, no response under pressure, soon beaten.
