Comments

1RIBOT LEGEND  M L Yeung

Jumped nicely, assumed spot first outside leader, had even run despite strong tempo, took over soon after turning in, dug deep to hold off late challengers.

2GRAND DRAGON  O Doleuze

Standard jump, ended up in midfield, raced 4 to 5Ls back throughout, travelled well turning, impeded slightly at 250 M, did best work late to just miss.

3WINNING FELLOWSHIP  B Doyle

Drifted back from a wide gate, settled well back sharing rear 9Ls off pace, appreciated good speed, set huge task turning when coming to middle, motored late making many lengths to narrowly miss out.

4AMAZING VENTURE  M Chadwick

No early pace, positioned in rear division 7Ls from top end, aided by tempo, still plenty to do turning, made solid progress down outside to make frame.

5CARS KING PRAWN  B Prebble

Away well, took a hold to sit behind pace 2 to 3Ls back, had easy time thereafter, in contention from bend, just peaked at 150 M and held ground thereafter.

6CASH MONEY  C W Wong  (B/H)

Scooted to early lead, set a useful tempo in front, still 2Ls clear leaving bend, headed before 200 M, kept on respectively given early workload.

7HE CAN TANGO  Z Purton  (B2/TT1)

Moderate beginning, settled a little closer in midfield 5Ls down, saved ground to bend, kept on evenly between horses in straight to be nearest on line.

8CHAMPION LAD  D Beadman  (XB/TT)

Reasonable break, caught wide from an awkward gate midfield without cover throughout, did work however kept improving on turning in, there to inside 150 M before petrol ran out.

9STILTON  K W Leung  (PC-/B2)

No early toe, shared rear 10Ls off lead on rails, set plenty to do even further back on circle, made some minor headway late.

10SUPER CARDED  W C Marwing

Awkwardly away, behind midfield 6Ls away in running line, difficult to settle in mid-section, just whacked away in straight.

11WINNER SMART  H W Lai

Decent jump, took a sit 3Ls off leader on rails, enjoyed easy run throughout, close enough turning, lacked a pick up and struggled in run to line.

12HORSE WIN WIN  S K Sit

Out well but forced to restrain to find cover, settled 6Ls or so away 3 wide, had a trail to bend, bumped 400 M, didn't let down in straight.

13ANTIPASTO  K C Leung  (SW1)

Moderate jump, ended up 8 to 9Ls back on rails, unable to hold position and lost ground from 800 M, never likely thereafter.

14DRAGON EYE  M W Leung  (TT)

Average jump but mustered to hold spot, used a bit on solid tempo, gave ground soon after straightening and was beaten a fair away.
