Had the box-seat position on fence between 1L and 2Ls from the speed before taking up the lead 300 M out, kicked clear, easily.
2ACCELERATOR  B Prebble

3-back the rails in midfield about 4Ls off leader at halfway, closer turning for home, no chance with winner but stayed on well to nick 2nd inside final 50 M.
3HOT SUN  M L Yeung

Soon led by 1L but over-raced a little early on, 2Ls clear at the 800 M, headed by the winner 300 M out, headed for 2nd inside final 50 M, just hung onto 3rd.
4MONTY  K C Leung

Midfield and 2-wide over 4Ls off the early tempo, 3Ls back in 6th turning for home, one-paced to wrap up.
5CHEERFUL HAPPINESS  B Doyle  (V/XB)

Soon one from rear about 7Ls off the pace, not suited by the on-pace race but still finished off strongly for 5th, possibly better at 1600 M.

Half back in 2nd outside leader early on, still as close-up turning for home, couldn't find and extra gear when the tempo quickened late on.

3Ls back in 5th out 2-wide at the 1000 M and closer in 4th into the last 400 M, failed to capitalize on the cheap run, poor finish.
