2-wide and in 8th or so down the back, similarly placed turning in, hard ridden to lead about 100 M out and kept on okay for the win.

8Ls back in rear at the 800 M and briefly off the bridle soon after, checked 350 M out but stayed on strongly towards the inside to take 2nd late.

Raced prominently within 2Ls of the pace through to home straight entrance, upsides winner and with every chance 200 M out, did enough to place.

Pressed forward and a neck clear out 2-wide at 1000 M, disputing the pace from top of home straight to 200 M, one-paced and missed a place final furlong.

Broke better than normal, midfield at first but left 3 and 4-wide without cover from 800 M to home turn, kept on fairly well despite the wide trip. (Tactic questioned.)

Slowest away, 5Ls back in 11th at the 1000 M and much the same on straightening, kept on all right, never nearer.

Disputed initial lead out 2-wide and led by a neck at 800 M, still vying for the lead from 400 M to 200 M, weakened sharply final 100 M.

3-back along the rails about 5Ls from speed at 1000 M, marginally closer turning in and at 200 M but no extra when it mattered close home.

2-wide and 5Ls off pace at 1000 M, same margin behind but shuffled back next to last at final turn, never likely to get out of second half.

Box-seated in 4th and a little keen early on, 2-1/2Ls back in 5th off home bend, steadily faded out of the picture.

Went back from wide gate, 8Ls behind in rear at 1200 M, still in rear group about 5Ls down off final bend, never seriously threatened.

Raced 3 and 4-wide no cover down the back straight, 2Ls down in 3rd at halfway, steadily lost touch and eased down inside final 200 M.
