Comments

1GANBARIA  Y T Cheng  (B)

Broke well from the inside barrier, ridden to maintain a midfield position on the rail 2-3Ls back, crept closer turning in, quickened well once pressed inside 300 M, kept on strongly to line.

2KING CREOLE  D Whyte  (TT)

Slow into stride, pressed on to take closer order in mid-division, niggling along on turning, threatened with a strong looking challenge inside 300 M, chased hard but flattered out near the finish.

3MAXIMUM CHARM  W C Marwing  (SR1/B2)

Well enough away, restrained to settle towards the rear 5Ls off the leader, had plenty to do coming off the bend, made steady progress from 300 M and did his best work towards the finish.

4GLOBAL WAY  H W Lai  (B-/V2/TT-)

Even break, hard pressed early, taken to a spot just behind leaders, travelled well enough coming into straight, ran on steadily inside 200 M but able to fend off the fast finishing 3rd.

5MR FLOODLIGHT  Z Purton  (B)

Taken back on jumping, assumed a rearward position 6Ls behind leaders, last turning into straight, picked up in good fashion and made plenty of ground despite being steadied near 100 M.

6SUPER SPECIAL  E Saint-Martin  (H/TT)

Began awkwardly, patiently held up in a position behind midfield, used little in running, switched to inside on straightening but was momentarily checked near 200 M, took time to regather and ran on OK towards the finish.

7FAST WINNER  M Du Plessis  (B)

Little slow out, pressed on to take up early running along the rail, disputed lead with runner on outside, found little when asked, headed 250 M, got tired inside 100 M.

9PALIO KING  D Beadman

Drawn wide and was taken back on jumping, crossed to fence racing 5Ls behind in the rear, kept to inside on straightening, checked near 200 M and not able to improve from that point.

10PERFECT ATHLETE  C W Wong  (TT)

Quickly into stride, moved forward to be prominent alongside leaders, travelled 3-wide throughout, had every chance in straight, kept giving until weakened inside 100 M.

11MAINLAND MASTER  F Coetzee

Jumped well, taken forward to share lead with runner on the inside, difficult to settle and used up energy, under pressure on turning, soon beaten on straightening and out of contention.

12SPY KING  C K Tong  (V/XB/TT)

Hard ridden to go forward from a wide barrier, eased near 1000 M to obtain cover behind leaders, came very wide on turning, didn't respond to riding, dropped out inside 200 M.
