1LUCKY QUALITY  O Doleuze

Jumped well, showed customary early speed to lead field, travelled well coming off the bend, driven out near 300 M and kept on relentlessly to line. Won convincingly.

2SUNNY GOLF  D Beadman  (XB/TT)

Standard break, tracked leader on the rail, brought with a challenge inside 350 M, ran on strongly but the winner kept finding more. Posted a solid effort in defeat.

3ROYAL PERICLES  W M Lai  (B/XB)

Began with them, rolled forward to race just off the pace, unable to cross and was forced to race wide without cover, chased hard but unable to close in on leader, battled on gamely to take a creditable 3rd.

4BEAR MACHO  E Saint-Martin

Settled in midfield about 4Ls behind leader, used little i running, ran on well down the inside but never looked like catching the first three.

5ALWAYS GIGGLE  H W Lai  (B)

Taken back on jumping, soon detached in rear trailing 7Ls behind, switched outside coming into straight, delivered a strong run inside 300 M to finish closest on the line.

6ELITE CHAMPION  B Prebble  (TT)

Even break, maintained a position in midfield 5Ls off the pace, outpaced on turning, held every chance in straight but lacked a finishing kick, ran home one-paced.

7ELEGANT WIN  Z Purton  (B/TT1)

Well enough away, drifted back to settle in a rearward spot 6Ls off the pace, had plenty to do going into straight, picked up fairly from 350 M and made even progress to line.

8KING PRAWN SUPREME  G Mosse  (B)

Standard jump, rolled forward but was beaten for speed approaching home turn, under pressure inside 400 M, failed to quicken, no extra inside 150 M.

9WATCH WHAT HAPPENS  B Doyle

Slow to begin, maintained a rail position behind midfield 5Ls back, peeled out to challenge entering 400 M, found little in run to line.

10GREAT ACHIEVEMENT  C K Tong  (TT)

Away in line, settled towards the rear in a 3-wide position, remained there to turn, didn't respond under pressure, dropped out inside 200 M.

11STEP TO WIN  Y T Cheng  (B/TT)

Out in line, restrained to race behind midfield but unable to slot in, hung out badly in the home turn and covered extra ground, out of contention thereafter.

12NORMAN INVADER  K L Chui  (TT)

Pressed on early to take a prominent position just off the pace, struggled and lost position on turning, faded rapidly entering 300 M, tailed out.
