Best out and was allowed to slip back for cover. Made progress around the bend and was alongside the leader turning for home. Responded nicely when asked at 200 M. Kept on well and held off late challengers. (Bled.)
2MASSIVE STAR  Y T Cheng  (B/H)

Better than midfield. Box-seated behind the leader making the turn. Held up after straightening and had to switch out from behind the leader for a clear run. Closed off strongly final 150 M but winning post came too soon.
3KEEN TAKER  M W Leung  (B/TT)

Soon in the lead. Remained in front going into the home straight. Kept on well but was headed final 100 M.
4HONEST TREASURE  W M Lai  (B/TT)

Lacked early speed and raced behind midfield. Ran on well and made up ground in the straight.

Taken back from wide draw and raced towards the rear. Rallied and made up ground in the straight.

3-wide and no worse than midfield. Hung out at 700 M and was wide turning for home. Kept on steadily in the straight but unable to sustain effort final stages.
7TATTENHALL DELIGHT  B Doyle

Ridden along early and was never better than midfield. Made up ground at the bend and was 2Ls down turning for home. Closed to within a length after straightening but unable to sustain and faded in the final 200 M.

Slow to jump. Raced along the rails behind midfield. Steadied and lost ground 700 M out. Towards the rear turning for home and ran on without threatening.

Took time to muster speed. Raced 4-wide among leaders into the turn. Remained wide turning for home and weakened after straightening.

Soon trailed field and struggled to keep pace. Last on straightening and only ran past a pair of beaten runners.

Raced alongside the leader but hung out badly at the turn. Weakened after straightening.

Niggled along early and was racing 3-wide among leaders 800 M out. 2Ls off the lead making home turn and started to lose ground. Dropped out quickly after straightening. (Blood in trachea.)
