昨年はソウルスターリングを狙い撃ちして的中できた中山記念。今年も狙い撃ちしたい馬がいる。それはウインイクシードだ。2018年の12月から徹底的に右回りの2ターン以上にこだわって出走を重ねてきた。中山での安定感は特筆すべき内容。12戦して掲示板を外したのは2回のみ。最近は距離の長かった日経賞以外では常に好勝負を続けている。前走も人気に反発して見事3着を確保した。
このあと同馬が使えそうなレースは、4月中旬の福島民報杯くらい。ならばここに全力だろう。枠は痛いがその分人気が低いまま。先行ポジションを確保できれば一発あるだろう。
