【基本的な買い方】
前走指数・平均指数・最高指数の各上位3頭をワイドBOXで買う。つまり最大で9頭BOX。実際にはこの各3頭が全部バラバラということはまずないので、もう少し点数は減る。が、あくまで各上位3頭、計9頭いるものとして考える。例えば、1番の馬が前走指数1位・平均指数1位、2番の馬が前走指数2位だとしたら、ワイド1-2は「前走1位－前走2位」と「平均1位－前走2位」の分で倍購入する。そして「前走1位－平均1位」の分は1の複勝を購入する。

本来は3600円が基本だが、ここでは半端になるため300円分引いて、それを3倍している。
