Jumped well, settled third behind leader. Held up for run and in clear ground passing 250m. Finished strongly to hit front last 50m.
2COLONEL  L Ferraris  (V)

Showed customary early speed to lead clearly. Held up until 350m and then gave strong kick. Fought on gamely, only headed inside last 50m.
3HO HO STAR  K C Leung  (H1)

Jumped only fairly. Unbalanced near 850m when tight for room. Settled midfield on the rail. Waited for run early in straight, closed well last 150m.
4CHEER FOR SOUTH  Y L Chung  (SR)

Jumped well, prominent early settling outside leader. Shifted out under pressure passing 400m, fought on strongly, missed third last 50m.
5CIRCUIT SPLENDOR  M L Yeung  (XB2)

Raced wide, without cover throughout in leading group. Loomed up at 300m and then under pressure and once pased last 100m. Good effort.
6TIMESTORM  H Bowman  (V)

Ridden patiently from wide gate, drifted back to last, one off. Held up between runners on turn, made good ground last 150m when in clear room.

Bumped heavily at start. Settled midfield between horses, over raced passing 800m. Three wide to make run on turn. Laid out under pressure, one pace last 100m.

Jumped well but caught wide and drifted back to fourth last, four off fence with cover. Widest in straight, made ground early and stayed on but well beaten.

Jumped well then obliged to race wide without cover from 850m mark. Centre of track in run home, ran on but then one paced last 200m.

Bumped heavily at start and as a consequence settled further back than intended, near last on fence. Not a lot of room in straight but one paced when in clear ground last 250m.

Jumped only fairly and ridden to hold position, settled thrird last between horses. Under pressure passing 300m, last at 200m and faded.

Jumped well, settled fifth, one off fence. Held up coming to turn, under pressure passing 250m and dropped out last 200m, long last.
