Bumped on jumping. restrained in midfield along the 2-path in a slowly run race, remained 3L behind leader at 400M, came with a well-timed run to lead near line for maiden victory.

Soon led, allowed an easy lead early and middle stages, kept on well when driven out passing 300M, caught by winner close home.

3CAN'T GO WONG  A Badel  (B/TT)

From wide draw shifted across behind runners, settled behind midfield 6Ls off the pace, made his move on outside home turn, moved up to 3rd near 200M but no match for first two late stages.
4UNITED ENDEAVORS  M L Yeung  (H/TT)

From draw one moved up to track leaders, fought hard to stay in contention early straight, failed to find extra final 150M, comfortably held by leaders towards the finish.
5PO ON WAY  M Chadwick  (B)

From wide draw shifted across behind runners, reserved in last off a slow pace 10Ls back on settling, pushed along 500M, ran on well in the straight but too much to do.
6INVINCIBLE MISSILE  K H Chan  (XB)

Slow to begin, held his position midfield, came wide home turn and was just fair to the line. No threat to leaders.
7SURE JOYFUL  H Bowman

Chased leaders, little change throughout the race, lacked a turn of foot early straight, lost 3rd spot 250M and out of contention. (Jockey fined for failing to ride out to the satisfaction of the Stewards.)

Soon towards the rear, held up near last 8Ls off the slow pace, gave limited response on straightening, never in the hunt.

Jumped awkwardly and shifted across behind runners from wide draw, worse than midfield 6Ls on the turn, didn't finish it off.

10RIGHT HONOURABLE  B Thompson  (B/XB)

Settled down midfield 4-5Ls off the slow pace, failed to respond when placed under pressure on straightening. Never dangerous.
11TAKE ACTION  K C Leung  (P)

Caught wide early stages, strode forward passing 1100M to race outside the lead, under the pump 500M before giving ground early straight.
