Had a nice run on the leaders back throughout. Had to wait behind heels in the first part of straight, got through passing 200m, closed well to take lead in final 75m.
2STURDY RUBY  Z Purton  (TT)

Had a nice run 1,1 for the majority. Pealed three wide just before straightening, moved to share lead 150m, passed by winner final 75m.
3ATOMIC BEAUTY  Y L Chung  (V/TT)

Pushed forward to race outside leader. Moved to lead approaching 200m, joined 150m, battled on ok to only be beaten a length into third.
4DRAGON STAR  K Teetan  (V/XB)

Pushed forward to lead. Joined near the 200m mark, battled to hold fourth but was no match for the first three.
5ROYAL PRIDE  A Hamelin  (B-/TT)

Got back & raced worse than midfield three wide without cover. Got some cover from the 600m after improving to midfield, was the widest runner on straightening, closed off steadily down the outside to hold midfield finish.
6GOLD TACK  K De Melo

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Finished off only moderately in the straight to finish in midfield without threatening.
7YEABOI  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Steadied from outside gate & taken back towards to rear. Was second last and nearly 7L from the lead entering last section, passed a few tiring rivals in concluding stages when making up a length or two to midfield late.
8LUCKY GOLD  A Atzeni  (B)

Got back to race worse third last after the start. Moved into the three wide line with cover down back straight, was 5L from the lead entering last section, finished off only one paced & was beaten the same margin on line.

Raced in midfield along the rail. Was only 3L from the lead on straightening, stayed nearer the inside but weakened a few lengths. Plain.
10JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP  B Thompson  (B-/CP2)

Got back to race just worse than midfield between runners after the start. Was 5L from the lead entering last section when third last, stayed along rail in straight but did little in the finish.
11BRAVE WITNESS  K C Leung  (TT)

Raced keenly when being steadied after the start & taken to the rear. Moved four wide & commenced to improve around the field down back straight, was forward of midfield from the 600m but weakened to second last in straight.
12MIGHTY ARMOUR  K H Chan  (PC/TT)

Steadied at the start & shifted back to race worse than midfield along the rail after the start. Was relegated to last near the 550m mark when being hard ridden before weakening out poorly to be a long last.
