2SOLID SHALAA  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Steadied after the start & taken back to race just worse than midfield. Improved to race three wide with cover passing 700m, shifted out to be the widest runner at 400m before making late ground to close to second final 50m.

3PACKING PROSPECT  J McDonald  (TT)

Had a nice run on the leaders back in the middle stages. Was slightly hampered when going for a run between runners at 150m before finishing off well to not be beaten far into third.

4LIFELINE EXPRESS  A Badel

Improved after the start but was caught racing three wide outside the leaders in middle stages. Continued close to the lead all of the way before being over-run for a minor place late, ran well considering wide passage.

5CRAZY TREASURE  B Thompson  (B1)

Steadied & got back to race worse than midfield away from the rail. Continued rearward on straightening, was 5L from the lead entering last section before making some late headway down the outside to not be beaten far.

6SOARING BRONCO  Y L Chung

7WINNING HEART  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Ridden hard at start to improve to lead. Was joined & headed by the winner near the 300m mark, gave a few lengths in concluding stages to be beaten just under 4L into midfield.

8HIGH RISE POWER  K De Melo  (B-)

Veered inwards at the start before improving to be prominent and then getting position 1,1 in middle stages. Shifted outwards into clear running on straightening when only 2L from lead but weakened a few lengths late.

9YEE CHEONG RAIDER  A Hamelin  (B1/TT1)

Began only fairly before improving between runners after the start to race in midfield. Continued between rivals on straightening when just under 4L from lead but failed to improve, weakening a few lengths in final section.

10MASTER STROKE  L Ferraris

Began awkwardly & was then hampered & lost ground before racing worse than midfield along the rail. Had clear running on straightening when just under 5L from lead, weakened a further few lengths, never a factor.

11FAIRY HORSE  L Hewitson  (H1/TT1)

Allowed to get back from the outside draw to race towards to rear with only the poor beginner behind early. Was third last and 7L from the lead entering last section, made no headway & was never a factor.
