Reserved behind mid-division, had a ground saving trip, switched out into clear 300M then finished off determinedly to win going away in the end.

Settled in 2nd half of the field about 6-7Ls off the pace, held up for clear running 500-400M before closing off strongly to get up for 2nd near line.
3YELLOWFIN  L Hewitson  (XB)

Took up running from 1500M, travelled well to the home turn, kept on nicely and still had 2Ls lead inside 200M, caught by first 2 final stages.
4PERFECT TEAM  E C W Wong  (H/P/TT)

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded, raced at the rear 8-9Ls off the pace, held up on home turn along the fence, ran on steadily to go 4th close home.

Stalked the pace on inside, poised to strike at 400M, came with an even run, held 2nd until inside 150M, faded to 5th close home.

From wide draw positively ridden to chase leader, tried hard to stay in contention passing 400M, no extra final 150M.

Chased leaders, raced keenly in early stages and lay out, not far off the pace home turn, battled on one paced over final 400M, well held by leaders.

From wide draw taken across behind runners, given a waiting ride near the rear, made limited progress final 400M and unable to trouble leaders.

Held up in mid-division, shifted out 500M to continue, responded fairly passing 400M and wasn't able to get into the finish.

Caught racing 3-wide towards the rear early stages, dropped back to last passing 650M, had many lengths to make up top of straight but failed to pick up.

Jumped on terms from draw 1, maintained a midfield position along the fence, came under pressure 600M, soon beaten on straightening.

Crowded at the start, gradually moved up to chase leaders, caught wide no cover for the majority of event, struggled to keep up 500M, finished tailed out on the 2nd consecutive occasion.

From wide draw chased leaders early, caught wide no cover until 700M then dropped back to midfield, gave ground rapidly 400M, finished tailed out. Unacceptable Performance.
