From draw 1 stayed close to the pace, remained racing on the inside turning for home while his rivals swung wide to center of track, continued on well to win by comfortable margin on rain affected ground.

Caught wide chasing leaders, gave good response on straightening, came home well down outside of track to take 2nd.
