Settled towards the rear from the widest gate, commenced move entering home straight swinging wide for a run, responded well under pressure inside final 200 metres to prevail near the line.

Broke well settling off the pace some 3L back in 5th on the rail, came to challenge under pressure inside final 400 metres approaching final turn, ran on well to miss narrowly.

Pressed forward from a wide gate, travelled keenly outside race leader around first bend and early in back straight, remained in similar position into home straight, held every chance over 100 metres out but soon overhauled.

Settled at the back, commenced move rounding home bend swinging widest into home straight, ran on strongly down the centre of the track to be nearest at finish.
5GOLDEN LINK  M Chadwick

Began well from a wideish gate, obtained rails run in 3rd making first turn at the 1200 metres, snuck up the rail on final turn, held every chance until the 100 metres when found no extra.

Began well from the one draw but soon taken back to just behind midfield in 7th, remained similar into straight hugging inside rail, ran on steadily under pressure without threatening,

Jumped fairly, soon up with the pace and took up running on the rail passing the winning post the first time setting a slow pace, unable to sustain effort and swamped inside final 50 metres.

Settled in rear of midfield, went wide into home straight, fought on steadily to be nearest at finish.

Began fairly, held up in rear on the rail, inconvenienced behind runner 550 metres out, remained in similar position into straight, produced good late impression inside final 100 metres.
