Pushed forward, raced second before being crossed & racing on leaders back from 900m. Moved up to share lead at 150m, was too strong for rivals in concluding stages & went on to win well.

Showed early speed to lead when racing deep before crossing down to rail near the 900m. Joined by the winner approaching the 100m mark, battled on bravely to hold second, and beaten just under 2L.

3BOYS PARTY  L Hewitson  (XB-)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Shifted outwards & raced close to heels when attempting to get clear running on straightening, made continual steady ground to steal well beaten third in final stride.

Had a soft run when racing forth along the rail. Moved off the rail on straightening before closing off steadily in last section, only caught for third in final stride.

Shifted back after start & raced at the tail. Continued a clear last throughout before shifting to be the widest runner on straightening when 9L from the lead before making significant late ground from a long way back.

Outpaced after the start & was hard ridden when racing second last along rail. Checked away from heels near 700m when pace slowed. Stayed close to the rail on straightening when 5.5L behind, passed a couple in late stages.

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Eased into clear running on straightening when 3.5L behind, peaked on effort mid-straight & gave a few lengths to be beaten 5.5L.

Raced just worse than midfield between runners. Was close to heels & steadied near 750m, was again steadied on straightening when attempting to shift out before holding 6L deficit all the way to line.

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Eased wider just prior to straightening, entered last section 5.5L from the lead before doing little in the straight & being beaten 6.5L.

10SEA MONARCH  M Chadwick

Ridden forward after start before racing third away from the rail. Entered last section just under 3L from lead, lay outwards under pressure near 350m before weakening badly thereafter. Reluctant to stretch out - rider.

Shifted across behind runners & raced second last away from rail. Was just under 8L from the lead on straightening & could make no headway into that deficit in the straight & was well beaten.

Began awkwardly & lost a length before racing just worse than midfield along the rail. Moved away from the rail passing the 500m, was just under 5L from the lead on straightening, before weakening in final furlong.

Raced just worse than midfield when three wide but with cover. Was ridden along from the 500m, forced to be the widest runner on cornering before weakening poorly in straight to be long second last.

Raced three deep in midfield before being left wide & without cover from the 1000m. Was 5L from the lead on straightening before weakening out poorly to be long last.
