Had a nice run in midfield between runners throughout. Moved up under little ridding at 250m, moved to lead at 150m before overcoming gallant runner up in final stages to win by a neck. First two well clear of third.
2WINNER METHOD  K Teetan  (TT)

Obtained easy lead. Continued in lead until being joined by winner at 150m, tried very hard in final stages but was just overcome in late stages to be beaten only a neck on line. Well clear of third.
3EN POINTE  Z Purton  (CP)

Raced outside leader. Peaked at 200m before weakening in final stages but did hold well beaten third on line.
4POWERFUL WINGS  M F Poon

Steadied after start & taken back to clear last. Was just under 6L from the lead on straightening before passing a few tiring runners when running onto well beaten 4th.
5PRINCE ALEX  B Shinn  (SR)

Drifted back after the start to race second last away from the rail. Bumped near the 500m, straightened 3.5L from the lead before weakening out to be beaten 7.5L into midfield in a race where they finished well spread out.
6COUNTRY BOY  A Badel  (H/P/TT)

Was trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Straightened only a length from the lead before emptying out at 250m mark & weakening out quickly in concluding stages.
7CLASSIC ARCHI  L Hewitson  (B1)

Didn't begin fast, raced worse than midfield along rail in middle stages. Moved away from the rail on straightening when 4L behind before weakening out to be beaten over 10L.

8COMING PATCH  H Bentley  (CP-/H/B1)

Had a nice run on the leaders back throughout. Straightened only 2.5L from the lead before weakening very poorly in the straight to be long second last.
9EZRA  H T Mo  (B)

Hard ridden in early & middle stages to hold position when three wide with cover in midfield. Continued wide around bend, bumped at the 500m & taken widest, was 4L behind on straightening before weakening badly to long last.
