Settled down midfield along the inside, had difficulty obtaining clear running rounding home turn, quickened well passing 250M, went head to head with rival from mid-straight, just prevailed at the line.

Reserved in midfield along the 2-path, taken wide 400M to challenge, ran on strongly under pressure, went head to head with eventual winner from 200M, just held at the line.
3ATULLIBIGEAL  Z Purton  (H/XB)

From wide draw taken across behind runners, settled towards the rear along inside, held up for clear running until near 200M, responded well and was just beaten in a close finish.
4WOOD ON FIRE  M F Poon  (H/V/TT)

Taken back to race near the rear, swung wide into straight, ran on well from off the pace but was always held by first 3 towards the finish.
5SMART IDEA  H Bentley  (H/TT)

Switched off to last from wide draw, 6Ls to make up 400M, badly held up for clear running until 200M, closed off nicely to go 5th near line.

Chased leaders 2-wide, travelled well into straight, challenged for lead inside 300M before flattening near 150M.

Began well from draw 1, soon restrained to a position ahead of midfield, had no clear running early straight, ran on without threat final 150M.

Jumped on terms, caught wide no cover until shifting in to race outside the lead near 600M, no extra 250M, weakened towards the line.

Held up towards the rear 5Ls back, responded only fairly passing 300M, never reach contention.

Began awkwardly, raced keenly early stages, led nearing 800M, came under pressure early straight then weakened 200M from home.

Pressed along to take early lead, tracked leaders along the fence from 850M, badly held up by a weakening rival turning home and was not able to be tested in the straight.

Caught wide from draw 10 until shifting in to race behind leaders 850M, failed to quicken on straightening, soon weakened to finish last.
