Missed the start by 1L before making some ground & settling worse than midfield along rail. Moved closer approaching the corner, moved off rail on straightening before making continual ground to strike lead in final strides.
2STOLTZ  M F Poon

Pushed forward, raced outside leader before being crossed & getting cover in 1,1 near 600m. Dashed well near 200m, assumed lead at 175m, continued in lead until headed in final few strides. Narrowly beaten, clear of third.
3WIND SPEEDER  M L Yeung

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Just under 3L from the lead on straightening before finishing off steadily to steal third place in final stride. Better than before.
4FABULOUS EIGHT  A Badel  (B/TT)

Had a soft run in midfield on the rail throughout. Cornered only 1.5L from the lead but failed to challenge despite soft run & was caught for third in final few strides.

Drifted back from outside gate & raced near the tail when 3 wide with cover. Continued back & wide entering last section when 4L behind before making up some late ground down the outside to midfield.

Won the early speed battle to lead. Headed in the lead soon after straightening, battled away & was still close at 150m before giving a few lengths late.
7BRILLIANT FORTUNE  K Teetan  (H)

Raced prominent but was left three wide no cover outside lead before improving & crossing to be 2 wide outside the leader from the 600m. Dashed to lead soon after straightening, joined at 175m, weakened late.
8DECISIVE TWELVE  C Y Ho  (TT)

Steadied & raced near the rear between runners throughout. Continued rearward entering last section when just over 4L from the lead before failing to make any headway into that margin in the dash to line.
9GOOD VIEW CLARICO  K H Chan

Raced three wide in midfield where he had some cover before being left without cover from the 600m. Just over 2L from the lead entering last section, cornered wide before weakening in last furlong after wide passage.
10ASTRO KING  H Bentley  (CP)

Drifted back after the start & raced a clear last. Continued at the rear, 5L behind on straightening, stayed along rail in straight but failed to improve & was last.
