Raced second away from rail throughout. Entered last section 2L behind leader who raced clear, made continual strong ground to strike lead inside final 30m & won dashing clear.

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Eased wider entering last section when just under 3L behind, made continual ground despite hanging inwards near the 75m mark before snaring second place in final strides.

Began very fast to assume lead easily. Was 2L clear on straightening, held lead until caught inside final 30m. Caught for second in final strides.

Raced third on the rail throughout but 3L from lead in middle stages. Closed off well to only be beaten 1.5L on line.

Crowded at the start, raced third last early before settling worse than midfield on rail. Moved off rail on cornering when 5L behind, shifted inwards when making ground in straight before being checked near 75m, unlucky.

Crowded at start & consequently raced rearward. Over 8L from lead entering final section, stayed close to the inside in straight, was closing off very strongly before being hampered for room & not tested in concluding stages.

Trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Entered last section just over 3L behind before making steady ground to be beaten about 2L in midfield after wide passage throughout.

Raced in midfield along rail throughout. Straightened about 4L from the lead, stayed on rail, failed to challenge but wasn't beaten far in a bunched finish.
|9||MERIDIAN GENIUS R Moore|
Out-paced after the start & drifted back to the tail. Was last on straightening nearly 9L from the lead before making steady ground under limited riding to be beaten only 3L but never looked likely.

Ridden forward from outside gate but was left very wide before steadying at 900m & racing worse than midfield when 3 wide with cover. Just under 7L behind on cornering, made up a few lengths late but still finished rearward.

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Travelled strongly at 400m when 4L from lead, steadied at 250m when disappointed for clear running, was then closing evenly before steadied & losing ground passing 75m. Unlucky.

Crowded & lost ground at start before improving to race three wide in midfield. Raced keenly in middle stages & cornered awkwardly at 550m. Failed to improve in straight & was last.
