Pushed forward & had cheap lead in middle stages. Raced a couple of lengths clear on straightening, continued to hold the lead & maintained half-length advantage over fast finishing challenger on the line.
2RED IMPACT  C Y Ho

Steadied from outside gate & settled second last away from rail. Continued rearward entering last section when over 5L behind, closed strongly to second near 75m before charging at winner in final strides to miss narrowly.

3VILLA FIONN  K Teetan  (B)

Steadied after start & raced in midfield between runners throughout. Entered last section just over 4L from lead before closing strongly in final furlong to move to third in final stages, beaten only a length on line.
4NUNCHUKS  K C Leung  (TT)

Pushed forward to race second at the leaders flanks. Ridden along before straightening, dropped off the leader who kicked away before being passed for second in the final 75m.
5UNITE SPIRIT  C L Chau  (B/XB)

Had a good position in midfield away from the rail throughout. Entered last section just under 3L from the lead before finishing off one paced in the straight & pretty much holding position all the way to line.

6WINNING VOLATILITY  J Moreira  (PC)

Inconvenienced at start before racing in midfield on the rail. Moved away from the inside on straightening when about 4.5L behind before having no clear run near 150m when closing well, got clear late & was only 2.5L behind.
7ALL JOYFUL  M Chadwick  (B)

Began awkwardly before being shifted back to the tail. Commenced to improve position when very wide passing the 500m, very wide around final corner when 6L behind before making late ground from the back in on-speed race.
8MURRAY'S PARTNERS  Z Purton  (B)

Didn't begin fast, crowded after 100m & raced in the second half. Moved into 3 wide line but with cover from the 900m, entered last section 5L behind before making up a length or so to midfield.
9KUNGFUMASTER PANDA  A Badel  (B/TT)

Bumped & unbalanced at start before mustering to race in midfield on rail. Entered last section 3.5L behind, stayed along rail before being checked near 300m & then held up until inside the final 100m. Genuine excuse.

Had a soft run on leaders back throughout. Was only 2L from the lead on straightening before weakening a few lengths in the straight to be third last.

Raced three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Ridden along before straightening before weakening out in the straight to be second last.
12DIONYSUS COLLIN  H N Wong  (P)

Began awkwardly & bumped & consequently raced third last on rail. Came under pressure passing the 500m mark before failing to make any headway in the straight & finishing last.
